Amazon’s Jeff Bezos now world’s richest with $141 billion net worth

Bezos’ wealth has grown more than $5 billion since June 1 to beat Bill Gates, the principal founder of Microsoft Corporation, who is the second-richest man in the world with $92.9 billion.

International News : Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has become the richest man in the world with a net wealth of $141.9 billion, the Forbes World’s Billionaires list showed on Monday.
Bezos’ wealth has grown more than $5 billion since June 1 to beat Bill Gates, the principal founder of Microsoft Corporation, who is the second-richest man in the world with $92.9 billion.
Warren Buffet, one of the most successful investors in the world, trailed in the third place with a total of a wealth of $82.2 billion.
Bezos officially became the richest person in the world earlier this year, and his business behemoth of online retailing, Amazon, grew into the second most valuable company in the world after Apple.
Fortune’s last list release showed that Amazon ranked eighth on the 2018 list of America’s largest companies, with revenues of $177.87 billion.

Forbes looked at the last three films each actor starred before June 2016. 
Then, it deducted the estimated production budget from the global box office for each film to come up with a limited definition of each movie’s operating income. 

The total operating income of the star’s films was divided by the star’s estimated pay for those films to come up with the final return on investment number.

Mukesh Ambani tops Forbes' 100 richest Indians list, Patanjali's Balkrishna enters top 50

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has grabbed the top most position in the Forbes' '100 Richest Indians' list with a net worth of $22.7 billion. This is the ninth year in a row that Ambani has topped the list.
According to the annual India rich list released by the Forbes India, Mukesh Ambani holds the first position followed by India's richest pharmaceutical magnate Dilip Shanghvi at number two with a net worth of $16.9 billion.
His wealth fell by $1.1 billion along with a drop in the shares of his Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, the world's fifth-largest generics maker.
However, the third spot is bagged by the Hinduja brothers with a net worth of $15.2 billion, up from $14.8 billion last year.
Tech magnate Azim Premji, who has led Wipro for five decades, slips one spot to number four on the list with a net worth of $15 billion.
Construction magnate Pallonji Mistry takes the fifth spot with net worth of $13.9 billion. The steel baron Lakshmi Mittal ranks to number six with net worth of $12.5 billion.

Priyanka Chopra among world's highest paid TV actresses

Priyanka Chopra has become the first Indian star to enter the Forbes list of highest paid television actresses in the world, after starring on American series "Quantico".

Priyanka ranks eighth in the coveted list, which has retained American actress Sofia Vergara at the first position fifth year in a row.
The 44-year-old Colombian-American actress brought home a whooping $43 million before management fees and taxes, but not all came from her hit TV show "Modern Family".

Vergara has an impressive array of endorsement deals as well as her line of products.

Priyanka, meanwhile, has earned $11 million. She made her international acting debut last year with ABC's "Quantico" and now is gearing up for its second season.
Back home, the 34-year-old actress has starred in two Bollywood films in the past one year -- "Bajirao Mastani" and "Jai Gangaajal"-- and will make her Hollywood film debut with "Baywatch" alongside Hollywood heavy-hitters including Dwayne Johnson, the world's highest-paid actor.
